LinkedIn posts for lawyers, in your own voice.
Lettie writes your posts every morning from your own posts, stories and documents. Press Polish This One and it checks each claim against your documents first, then the web. Client names you list never appear, and you post each one yourself.
Built by Waleed Tariq, who works on NEC4 and FIDIC contracts and sits as an adjudicator.
Fact checkDon’t shake hands on a Defect.
Under 44.2, a notified Defect still has to be corrected before it ends… 46.1 kicks in… propose changing the Scope (45.1)… the Contractor quotes reduced Prices (45.2).
Names never to mention
We’ll never write these names, even if they’re in your stories or documents.
What it does
Your documents first
Add the rules, guidance and judgments you write about. Polish This One checks each claim against them before it looks anywhere else.
Names you list never appear
Add clients and anyone else to Names never to mention. A draft that names one is rewritten, and a post that still names one is never saved.
You press Post
Lettie never connects to your LinkedIn account and nothing posts by itself. You read each post, copy it and post it yourself.
Before an AI-written post goes out.
Two recent pieces for lawyers ask much the same of you.
Review every AI-written post before it goes out. One that exaggerates a result or leaves out key facts can mislead (Model Rule 7.1), and client information that slips in can breach confidentiality (Model Rule 1.6).
Be wary of AI in social media, solicitors warnedLaw Gazette, 3 November 2025, on the Law Society’s social media guidanceCheck anything AI writes, as it can carry misinformation, and avoid clickbait. The SRA’s principles and code of conduct still apply, and it is worth knowing whether a platform trains its AI on what you post.
| What they ask of you | What Lettie does |
|---|---|
| Check the facts | Polish This One checks each claim against your documents first, then the web. A claim it can’t back is taken out, or rewritten to say only what your material shows. |
| Keep client information out | Lettie writes only from what you give it. Names you list never appear in a post, and Hide Names in Posts turns the people in a story into roles. |
| Don’t overstate a result | No invented numbers, quotes, clients, dates or results, and no “most” or “every” without a source. |
| No clickbait | No hype words, hashtags or emoji, and no ending like “Agree?” or a request to repost. Every draft is read back for stock phrases before you see it. |
| Know where your material goes | It is used only to write and check your posts. Anthropic, whose Claude writes them, gets only what each request needs and may not train on it. |
| Review it yourself | You read every post, and only you press Post. Nothing posts by itself. |
The post is still yours: read it, add any disclaimer your rules require, and decide whether it goes out. This is a summary of their guidance, not legal advice.
Questions
Can lawyers use AI to write LinkedIn posts?
Both pieces above treat AI as a tool you can use, as long as you check what it writes, keep client information out, don’t overstate results and review every post before it goes out. Your own regulator’s rules apply, and this isn’t legal advice.
Does Lettie check every post?
Every draft is read back for stock phrases before you see it. The claim check runs when you press Polish This One: it checks each claim against your documents first, then the web.
Can I keep a client’s name out of my posts?
Yes. Add it to Names never to mention: a draft that names it is rewritten, and a post that still names it is never saved. For one story, switch on Hide Names in Posts and the people in it become roles, like “a founder I work with”.
Is my client material used to train AI?
No. It is stored privately in your account and used only to write and check your posts. Anthropic, whose Claude writes and checks them, gets only what each request needs and may not train on it.
Does Lettie post to LinkedIn for me?
No. You copy each post and post it yourself. Lettie never connects to your LinkedIn account, and nothing posts by itself.
